Introducing the Amazing New Cricut Products

I’m so excited to introduce you to the new Cricut products!

Late last year, Cricut released the Cricut Maker – the ultimate cutting machine on the market. For sewists, crafters and all kinds of makers alike, it doesn’t get much better than the Cricut Maker machine. It’s the all-around most versatile cutting machine on the market – in one word, it’s MAGIC!

The Cricut Maker has an expandable suite of tools including the advanced Rotary and Knife blades making it possible to design and create nearly any DIY project. This smart cutting machine can cut 100s of different materials from light and delicate fabric without an interfacing backing, paper, matboard, leather and even wood. If you love making paper flowers like I do, the Cricut Maker will be your new best friend. You can use it to cut super delicate materials like tissue paper and crepe paper, so it would save you hours of time. With the Cricut Maker, making paper flowers just became a lot easier.

If the release of the Cricut Maker was not exciting enough, Cricut also released the Cricut EasyPress! If you’ve been an iron-on (heat-transfer vinyl) skeptic, this machine will change your mind. It marries the ease of an iron with the even heating of a traditional heat press. For crafters with small workspaces that can’t accommodate a Heat Press, the EasyPress is ideal. The EasyPress can easily be tucked away in a cupboard, shelf, drawer or anywhere out of sight. Due to the compact size of the EasyPress, users can easily take it to crops, events, workshops and pretty much anywhere! The EasyPress also has a precise way to measure the temperature and time for your project, using an LCD screen –  you can select the temperature and the length of time to get perfect results every time.

And last, but certainly not least, Cricut has released the Cricut BrightPad for weeding, tracing, and delicate crafting. With its adjustable LED light and ultraslim profile, Cricut BrightPad lets you see every detail as you’re weeding, tracing, paper-piecing quilt patterns, or jewelry making. It’s especially suited to lighting up those hard-to-see cut lines in vinyl and iron-on.  It’s seriously light as a feather, easily portable, and doesn’t get hot.

I’ve created a tutorial where I used all of the above mentioned Cricut products so that you can see for yourself how easy it is to use these amazing products.

Happy crafting!
